v26.3

Managing Suppliers

All suppliers in one place: Admin → Suppliers (directly below "Customers"). Here you maintain master data, bank details and accounting defaults — and see at a glance what you have spent with each supplier.

There is exactly one supplier form: master data, terms, bank details, accounting, assigned articles and documents are all kept together here. The Stock uses the same data but no longer has a tab of its own for it.

The table shows name, city, your customer number with the supplier and whether bank details are on file (column with the bank icon). Use the search field to filter by name, city or customer number. "New supplier" creates a record.

Suppliers are also created automatically

When you capture a document, DiKAS proposes creating unknown issuers — including address, VAT ID and IBAN from the e-invoice. One click is enough; you can add the details here later.

Editing a supplier

Clicking a row opens the detail view. With the arrows in the top bar you page through the list without leaving the form. The data is organized in tabs:

With Merchandise Management, one more tab is added

Terms holds supplier number, payment term, cash discount, free-delivery threshold and currency — described in Suppliers with terms. Without the module, only minimum order value and delivery time appear there.

Master data

Name, your customer number with the supplier, postal address, e-mail (order recipient) and phone.

Bank details

The supplier's IBAN and BIC — the basis for transfer drafts from document capture. For e-invoices, DiKAS pre-fills the fields automatically (the BIC is often missing since SEPA; it is not needed for domestic transfers).

Accounting

Field Effect
Default category Documents from this supplier are pre-posted with it automatically — the suggestion beats rules and AI
VAT ID Taken from the e-invoice or entered manually
Creditor account (DATEV) Preparation for the creditor export

Documents

The fourth tab shows all documents of the supplier as a table (date, invoice/note, category, amount) — with the total above the list and a quick search within it. This way you see in seconds what you have spent with whom.

For a supplier with many invoices, the table first loads the newest documents; if there are older ones, "Load more documents" appears below the list. The total above the list always refers to what is currently loaded and filtered by the quick search — so to get a supplier's overall total, first load everything.

Clicking a row opens the document in the document form; from there the back path leads to the supplier view again.

Deleting

Via the trash icon in the detail view — with a confirmation prompt. The supplier's documents are kept.
